Ive been camping at Deep Creek for 60 + years. My two favorite campgrounds are Deep Creek and Cades Cove. It is so nice and serene. I live in Maggie Valley about 45 minutes East of it and still go there at least a couple times a year. Whether youre young or old youll have the time of your life. Tubing is probably the best in the smokies. There are 3 water falls youll want to see. Bryson City is minutes away. Hope you have a wonderful timeRachal and Jim

With the only exception being a lack of onsite showers, this was a perfectly serene campground. Great location to both Bryson City and the southern entrance of the park!

The campground is pretty compact with campsites right beside each other. If you are looking for a private space this might not be for you. It's great if you are looking to socialize with fellow campers. The sound of the creek makes the mornings experience wonderful. It is pretty convenient with the parking and restrooms right in front of the campgrounds.

The feel is beautiful, would love to go back in the summer. I love that it is so much quieter than other camp grounds in the park. Quiet during the week but definitely filled up on the weekend. Bathrooms were clean and everyone was friendly. Loved the hikes that were close

A great spot for a quieter getaway. We had a nice area by the creek to ourselves and everyone was spread out. Not yet teeming for the Fall Colors crowd and not as many people as around Newfound Gap. Great for waterfall trips and soaking in the creek.

The ranger was very helpful. She provided information about the park and helped with reserving a site. The park itself was beautiful and clean. We will definitely come back.

Deep Creek seems like it could get very crowded but we stayed in mid-May so it was at about half capacity or less. We stayed at #22 and found clear and smoky quartz on the beach right by our campground! The bathroom stays on all night and is VERY bright so depending on if that is a good or bad thing for your family, you may want to stay farther from them.
