Hadnt been camping there in years as we are elderly now. We practically raised our children and grandchildren there. We spent 3 nights there in June and were so excited to be there and watch other families make memories and start their traditions.. Bucket list item done.. it was great and we might even try again next summer if our health stays good enough..we appreciate the rangers and all of their help and suggestions! Started camping at Deep Creek 52 yrs ago.. its one of our favorite vacation/camping destinations ever TONS of memories..

The staff was helpful, going the extra distance, and friendly. We were fortunate to arrive the week before Labor Day when most kids had already gone back to school (mine had not). What we had was a campground pretty much to ourselves. We were one of maybe five tents in the campground area next to the river.

I look forward to returning next year to do some tubing!

The campground rangers were very helpful. It is convenient to the deep creek loop trail and others that include views of waterfalls and an opportunity for casual to challenging hikes. The location is also convenient to Bryson City which offers store, restaurants and other activities that can be combined with camping

Great location inside the National Park. Very relaxing and a chance to do some tubing down deep creek and spending time and making memories with the family. It’s a repeat every year.
