It is well kept and run with nice bathrooms and a beautiful creek running by. Hiking trails are great. However, if it is full (and it was) the tent sites that are "walk to" are super close together. We could hear snoring in the next tent over. And no one was enforcing quiet hours after 10 but that may have been due to the shut down.

This campground was a madhouse on a busy summer weekend, and we were right in the middle of it in the tent area. When I saw our spot, I immediately felt anxious because the spots are very close together. However, all the campers behaved well all weekend, and we ended up having a good experience. Deep Creek is right there, and we spent the weekend on tubes in the water. We brought our own tubes but they can be rented for a small price right outside the campground.

The campground was not crowded during our weekend stay. The weather was nice, but it did rain one night during our stay. We were prepared for the rain, and I imagine thats why a few of the reserved campsites guests didn't show. The rangers would check on the camping guests, which made me feel safe. We hiked to the Juney Whank, Tom Branch, and Indian Creek Falls. We started early, so there werent a lot of hikers along the way. I think its a great place for families. The weather was nice but a little cool. It didnt keep the few guests from tubing. I imagine it will get crowded with tubers when the weather is much warmer. The restroom locations were close to the tent campgrounds and is well lit at night. Be sure to take a flashlight with you to help navigate through the grounds. Be sure to bring the camp ground approved firewood and plenty, especially if you enjoy campfires.I enjoyed my stay and the trails were awesome!
