To quote Helen Hunt in Twister: "It was windy." Nice site, could use fewer steps for us old geezers, but I reserved late and this was the only one left for that night.

Outstanding campground in a park I underestimated. The facilities are very nice and clean. Very close to the ampitheater, trails and a quick walk to the sand dunes.

As always, Pinon Flats is an amazing campground! All of the rangers are so nice and helpful, and the campground is well maintained. We absolutely will be back soon!

The views from campsites are amazing. So close to the dunes. Healthy walk- better ride.

Very well kept campground - bathrooms exceptionally clean. Campsites are a bit close together, but I understand the need to get as many into the space as possible because the location is fantastic. Although the view from 84 looks over a set of toilets, the sand dunes beyond are spectacular. Highly recommend visiting the Great Sand Dunes!

LOVE this campground. This was my first time staying in Loop 2, and it was just as wonderful as Loop 1 (although Loop 1 is way closer to the dunes if you're hiking with littles). The people are always nice, generally not a lot of generator noise, safe and happy campground. Can't wait to come back next year!

Had a great time camping at Pinon Flats Campground from May 10-12th. Campgrounds were well kept and clearly designated. Restrooms were well maintained, clean and easily accessible. Location was perfect to explore the sand dunes and other local hikes. Would stay here again!

Disappointed there were no Ranger programs during our stay....there is so much to learn about : for example: the night sky is beautiful and the Space Station was visible several times during our stay.

Very nice campground. We only stayed for one night, traveling through on motorcycles, but nice place nonetheless.
