Campers are very close together. Bathrooms - flush! - were very clean.

CAMPGROUND WAS VERY CLEAN, RESTROOMS WERE WELL MAINTAINED. ONLY CRITISIM I WOULD HAVE OR MAYBE MORE OF A CAUTION, IS MANY SITES ARE ON THE SMALL SIDE, SO GETTING A LARGE CAMPER AND VEHICLE MIGHT BE DIFFICULT

Very family friendly. Sites are all different sizes, check measurements to make sure all your equipment fits!

I was quite surprised to see that the bathroom facilities were unavailable and that the visitor center was not fully functional. I understand that maintenance and remodeling work needs to be done, but I think a heads up on the Sand Dunes website would be appropriate

This campground was very nice, but they were do bathroom renovations when we were there so had to use porta potties. I must say they were the cleanest ones I have ever used though so no complaints overall. The camp store worker was very nice and gave us treats for the dogs! They loved hiking the trails and rolling in the sand at the dunes. The sites were pretty spacious and you didn't feel crowded from neighboring sites. It snowed on us even though it was late April so it was a bit chilly. I was glad we had some extra firewood from the store :) I would go back if we were every in the area and the Dunes are a very pretty site!

Great campground, well maintained, and very scenic.

We enjoyed the campground and would have rated it higher except for the camping spot we had for our trailer. The spot was overgrown with tree branches on one side which made it difficult to get our trailer in. To make it worse we have a slide out which we were able to extend only partially. There was insufficient space to be able to park our truck resulting in the truck sticking out into the flow of traffic in the campsite loop 2. It seems there were other site spots in loops 1 & 2 that had similar problems.
Other than the above the camp area was great and provided plenty of activity for a couple of old folks such as ourselves

Campground was quiet and well maintained. Hiking the Dunes is awesome. Mosca Pass Trail is a nice hike.
