The campground provides walking access to the dunes, some sites in Loop 1 have beautiful views as well. Unfortunately, we are more last minute planners and could only reserve 1 night.

Great, big campsite, not too far from restrooms, where there is a lovely view of the dunes. Good shade over the tent pad, which makes a huge difference! (We used this for tent camping)

Very pretty site! Kids enjoyed hanging out in their hammocks and was with. Walking distance of the dunes. We stayed in site 80 and our 25 trailer and expedition fit just fine. Site is a bit sloped so we werent quite level but we also didnt unhitch.

Amazing campground in an awesome park. The sites are clean, spacious, fairly private. Great place to get outdoors!We tent camped an even with campers around it remained quiet.

This is an awesome location, 5 minutes from the dunes (also walkable). campgrounds are well kept and the amenities are in good shape. A couple of warnings though. These camping spots are pretty tight. We have a 26 ft camper and got a pull through (its more of a cut out) and it was fine, but It would be hard to navigate anything much longer. For these pullouts, your door may be on the opposite side of the camp site. Also, this was my first time camping that i had heard of a theft. someone's yeti cooler was snatched in broad daylight. This campground is definitely not close to anything, and actually have very little traffic through it. Probably a rare case. This is also a great dark sky area, so if you are into night photography, this place is great.

it was a good experience. The park service was helpful and the campground was very nice. The amenities were easy to find and well identifiable.

Campsite was amazing. Just the right amount of shade, a great view and perfectly spaced from other campers. Restrooms were clean. Will definitely look for campsite 80 if we ever come back this direction!

I had a great time visiting the Sand Dunes with my daughter and grandson. We rented boards to use on the dunes and that was a lot of fun, but a lot of work! My only negative experience was that I had difficulty getting my trailer in and out of the small camp site as the road through the camping area was narrow and without room to pull out easily. Of course I don't suggest changing the landscape!

The sand dunes are amazing and the campground was wonderful! We loved that we could see pictures of the sites when making our reservations. We will be back again soon!
