Amazing setting! Close to several very nice bathrooms and 10 minutes to the sand dunes access point.

We keep coming back to visit the dunes and camp almost every year in May when Medano creek is flowing. Although the weather can be somewhat unpredictable, it's not hot or crowded and there are no bugs yet. The campground is always enjoyable, although I was a bit disappointed that there was so much construction going on this spring with the campground restrooms and visitor center being remodeled. This is the closest thing to a beach experience in Colorado and well worth the trip.

All good and nice sites. Hope the bathrooms open up soon after remodel

I walked the trail near the visitor center, so exhibit signs were gone. Campsite nicely separated but I wish they could be more level on the parking pad. I'm getting tired of continually being head down or head up or even sideways falling into practically the bathroom because it's so unlevel.

Went here for a solo trip and was pleasantly surprised by the entire campground. The people, the facilities, the energy and the campsites themselves were great. I'll be back!

Sites are compact. Our 13 ft teardrop had difficulty backing into the site. Views were great. Bathrooms were easily accessible.

Every site on loop two is a good one. May not be able to see the dunes from each, but theyre all spacious and have some tree coverage.

Absolutely loved this campground! The proximity to the Dunes is unbeatable - you literally unzip your tent, walk 10 minutes, and you're there! There were tons of bathrooms and they were all very clean. The on-site bear box was great. Can't wait to come and camp again!

Flushing toilets! ...bathrooms were clean and well-lit. Camp sites are pretty close together, but staggered.

We had spot 74. It was very cool spot as you could see the dunes. Nobody to 1 side so it was an open kinda view. Short walk to restrooms. Deer walking around.
Spot was level and defined. Maybe could fit 2 cars for parking if they were small. We tent camped so parking did not matter. Fairly private compared to some of the other spots I walked by. Great for our first experience. Went on Memorial Day and creek was running good but temps got down to 30s overnight. Was really fun.

Beautiful view! My spot was close enough to the bathrooms and far right (I believe it was number 74?) which gave me amazing views at sunrise of the dunes and mountains!

Outstanding experience right by everything we wanted to do. Although sites for camper were small, extended space for relaxing was appreciated.

Very scenic and well maintained campground.

All the sites are fantastic, well maintained and with easy dunes access. It can get very windy and youll likely have sand with you for awhile, but thats the nature of the environment.
