The location is amazing. There were so many stars out. The campground was clean and quiet. Also, the bathrooms were super clean too. I just wish there was somewhere at the campgrounds to take showers.

Enjoyed the stay and especially the night sky.

My campsite was very clean and close to restrooms. Availability of water at rest room a real plus. My site was very secluded and star visibility poor as totally surrounded by trees. My daughter a little up road and open so saw stars from hers. Location so close to dunes which was my main want

We loved the campground. It was great to hike right from our campsite on the Dunes Overlook Trail and also hike to the dunes from our campsite.

Cute campground with shade from the heat. We were able to check into our site early because the people the day before checked out early. Easy dump and fill station, but the fill doesn't have a hose connector, just a gravity fill option. Highly recommend hiking into the dunes at first or last light! Enjoy! We will be back in March to see the creek.

Exceptionally clean restrooms. Bear Locker next to the campsite for convenient food storage.Would recommend to anyone passing through to stop in and get a camping spot. You do have to reserve your spot beforehand as well as pay to get in the National Park Area.

It was a bad experience. When I got to my reserved camp site there was still someone there. No people just the equipment so the park rangers took it apart for me to occupy it, off course It was three hours after the set time. I decided it to skip it and avoid having to deal with an angry camper later that day/ night and explain what happened to their camping gear. Bad resolution by the people in charge when I could see other camp sites available nearby.

Campsites were well maintained and bathrooms were clean and odor free. Kitchen sinks outside the bathrooms were great to have! Would stay again.

So many bugs this year! Still a quality campsite. Hosts were helpful and kind. Clean bathrooms with plumbing. Dish wash stations with running water. Short walk to the dunes. Great time.

The campgrounds were well kept and managed. The bathrooms were brand new. And the campgrounds were so close to the great Sandunes. Just beautiful.

Restrooms were warm and cleaned daily. The park was very quiet at night, I didnt even hear the people pack up and move out the next morning. Rangers very friendly. Trails were great. I stayed 3 nights and plan to go back.

The facilities were clean and well maintained. We loved getting to camp so close to the Dunes. The only draw back were the swarming mosquitos. That was a bit of a nightmare. I have never experienced this before in my life. Come prepared with nets and repellent.

Due to the remodeling of the restrooms, we had to use the portipotties. Otherwise, the campground was great and very clean.

The location is incredibly beautiful. The dunes and Medano Creek are less than a mile walk away. Deer occasionally wander through the campground. The weather even in August was not too hot because of the elevation.We loved every minute.

Park and walk in large camp site. Pretty level and surrounded by trees with heated rest rooms very close. Nice fire pit. Bear locker included.

Very nice experience all the way around - well-maintained restrooms, exactly as advertised as far as tent space and parking area available. Very convenient to all activities at the park!
@CarolineC46803 · Camped on Aug 8, 2019 at Campsite #53
Campsites were well marked and trees gave some privacy between sites. Bathrooms were clean. The location is great for those who want to get started on the dunes before sunrise as it's less than a couple minutes from the dunes trail parking lot. We saw a fair amount of deer wander through the campgrounds but nothing more exciting on our stay. Would definitely stay there again if we came back.
