The volunteer camp host was very friendly. The campground was clean. Fellow campers were helpful.

Had a great time at the sand dunes. Used walking sticks, water bottle and hat. Fun watching all the kids use their sleds and boards. Great nights for star gazing too. Stay couple of days if you can. Good place for riding bikes. Next time Im bringing mine!

Camp grounds were very clean, plenty of space for our family. We got to see tons of wildlife and had an amazing view of the dunes.

Site 33 has an amazing view of the dunes. The campground is tight for anything bigger than a 30 foot RV.

Class B RV, great camping experience. Nice facilities, although the camp store was not open. Great hiking. Dunes were beautiful.

Beautiful location, lots of mosquitoes. Kyle was a very helpful camp host. While this is a very busy campground it doesnt really feel that way.

Perfectly located to visit Great Sand Dunes National Park. Wether you want to see the sunset or sunrise you are just minutes away from the dunes. Clean restrooms and spacious sites.

I had a site with a view of the Dunes, which I recommend. Facilities/bathrooms kept clean. The campground is on a trail that goes right out to the Dunes.

What a unique and beautiful place. Loved the ranger talk on the ancient civilizations that lived in the valley. They are remodeling all the bathrooms, the one closet to us (site 33) reopened while we were there. Port a pots are in place for the closed bathrooms. The hiking trail from the campground to the visitors center was very nice (of course bring water). The temporary visitors center in a large trailer has displays, hats, stickers, books, and very helpful staff. The creek was flowing while we were there in May. An amazing phenomenon, much wider than we anticipated.

We just got back from our first visit to the Sand Dunes. We had a blast at this campground!! It was well maintained, the bathrooms were very clean. The dump and water station was close by and very easy to access. We had to visit the dump half way through our stay and it wasn't any trouble at all. Super close to the dunes and the loops are all small so our kids had a great time riding their scooters around.
