Beautiful surroundings.

The only reason for 4 stars vs 5 was that the paved area was really too small for our 16' trailer and mid sized pickup. We squeezed them in but it wasn't easy. Other than that, the campground was clean and beautiful. Got a new bird too! Townsend's Solitaire

The campground location provides easy access to many sites and features of the park. While most sites had a picnic table and tent area that were reasonably level, it seemed like the parking pad for most sites was at both a front to back, and side to side angle. You will almost certainly want leveling blocks. Also, there is no potable water at the site. But you can refill water bottles at the main visitor center in Baker. There are a number of amazing trails. On the six trails I hiked, they were all well maintained. And there was good signage too. All the main trailheads had vault toilets. There is limited potable water across the park. Make sure to bring your own if you are hiking.

No running water. It was temporarily not working.

Camp site 15 is small and nice. Parking area is short and very tight for 2 cars side-by-side. Facilities are well maintained. No potable water yet, so bring plenty. Wheeler Peak Alpine lakes loop was amazing. Cave tour and stargazing are beyond words. Great experience!

Just toilets, no sinks. Most campsite parking are small and are at an angled. Sites are close together. But your in a beautiful and calming place. There are ranger programs at night and A nice hike from the campground.

Beautiful campground, decently maintained. Beautiful deer in the morning eating berries was fun to wake up to :). Our site (15) barely fit our 18 foot trailer, I definitely would not recommend bringing 24 foot trailer even though thats the limit. Was surprised they had water shut off in September during their astronomy festival. We were fine but if I was tent camping I would definitely want to have had extra water cans to refill each day near the visitor center.

Only one parking spot at camp 15. Only one spot for tent as well. If youre bringing 8 people and two vehicles maybe consider another campsite. Facilities are nice. Campers are friendly. Would recommend. Just come prepared for small spaces.

The site was not at all level and very small.

This has been the smallest campsite Ive ever stayed at. Parking says for 2 cars, but my friend and I barely fit. Other than that, location was great. Small walk to the creek. Small walk to the bathroom. It was overall a quiet location.

The campground and restroom facilities were very good. I found that the reservation system for the Great Basin National Park (GBNP) campsites less than helpful and at times confusing. Reservation information on the GBNP website had different information than the Recreation.gov site and I had to call both GBNP and Recreation.gov to get it clarified. GBNP campsites have a 30 day in advance reservation policy which is different than most other national parks I have dealt with. This shorter time frame made it harder to plan my trip since I normally need to plan 6 to 8 months in advance. On recreation.gov you are allowed two vehicles per site, but many of the sites at Upper Lehman can only accommodate one vehicle. Since no camp host was on duty for the two days stay, I could not clarify if I could park my second vehicle in extra parking area near trailhead. During my visit it appeared that around 20% of the sites were unoccupied despite the full sign at the entrance to the park. In fact, one camper parked their tow vehicle in a different site each night since his ~18 ft trailer took up his entire campsite parking area. Overall, I would certainly return to this campsite, but I will be better prepared with the computer reservation nonsense and the reality of the campsite parking.

Small quiet campground. No running water or flush toilets but vaults werent bad. The cave was cool and be sure to hike to the bristlecones!
