Great Basin Park is beautiful, the Upper Lehman campground is not well-suited for trailers but is great for tents/vans. I intentionally booked a pull through spot that says the RV length is 80' - which would be AMPLE for our little 20' RPOD. However, the one-lane roads are very narrow and made dealing with other traffic incredibly difficult. The reserved site, site 17, is also extremely unlevel requiring all of the dunnage we had and our jack fully extended in an attempt to be level and we still weren't close to level. We will be back to the park, but won't try camping at one of the campgrounds with our trailer again. There was great cell reception and so I looked at the listed lengths of other sites as we walked around the campgrounds and ones listed as 20 - 30' long would not have been long enough for our trailer either. We did hike from camp on the Upper Lehman Creek Trail and that was very scenic.

This is an absolutely beautiful camp spot and we would stay again. But be prepared with extra levelling blocks and wood to level out. We were in site 17 which most people have mentioned it not level for a pull through and had the drawer bar basically on the ground.

Pay attention to the length of the driveway for the campsite you choose. They have a great selection of campsites.

Thanks to all the others who left reviews to prepare us for our stay at Upper Lehman campsite 17. I brought a lot of extra wood beam sections to be able to level our trailer (trailer is 22 4 from the tongue to the back bumper). I brought 2-4x8x24, 2-4x8x18, 2-4x4x18, plus 14 plastic leveling squares.and it was barely enough! The tongue jack was at its lowest possible setting in the front, and the back stabilizers were up on 4x4 blocks and still almost all the way extended. Its good to keep in mind that you have to build up the area behind the wheels to be able to chock them.Beautiful campground and wonderful hosts too.Plus being in Great Basin makes you really feel like you are in a very special place!

Camp hosts were excellent. Friendly. Helpful. Camp was beautiful and quiet. Well laid lit. Camp sites for RVs and trailers looked to be intentionally NOT level. Even site 17, a pull through, was almost too steep to be workable. Someone in construction needs to learn how to use a level.

This site was at a ridiculous slant. We couldnt level our trailer. Very uncomfortable situation. It was a huge beautiful site otherwise.

Beautiful location. The pull through had adequate space for our Expedition and 25' trailer. The difficulty was the pull through is not level what so ever. It runs uphill and slopes towards the creek. When we finally were done, we had used everything we carry for this purpose plus large boulders at the site for chocks to back up our own chocks behind the tires on our dual axle trailer. Spend three nights and moved to Baker Creek campground. It is withing GBNP, but is FCFS; no reservations. I highly recommend this campground, beautiful, quiet, close to amazing hiking and the Lehman Cave visitor center, RV/trailer dump station etc. Wildlife sighted daily, deer, wild turkeys, etc. Spent four nights there in site 20 and can't wait to return next year.

The campsite was beautiful and right next to the creek. We could hear the water burbling all night.

The location was absolutely perfect. My campsite was secluded and there was plenty of space to relax.

Spot 17 is large has a nice creek behind it, and is a pull through. The down side is the slope. I almost didnt have enough leveling blocks. This park is PERFECT for tent folks. Every spot has parking, a great flat tent spot, table, and fire pit. The trash, bathrooms, and water are convenient at each spot but trailer folks arent so lucky. If the spot is big enough the slope is an issue, or it is just big enough for the trailer and you have to parking for your tow vehicle. The small motor home campers will like the park almost as much as tent campers. All in all nice park, but not trailer friendly.

Beautiful creekside camp site with plenty of room and tons of parking space if you need it. The restroom is close but hidden. Wide open space on one side with no neighbors.
