The campground location is great - next to trails and the road to Wheeler Peak trailhead. The campground has clean facilities, but the campsites are not level. Some are extremely pitched in both directions and difficult to get the camper anywhere close to level.

Sites a little too close together. Unable to have fire in fire ring

The site was really nice, not nearly as steep as the grade would indicate. Great shade and amenities. The restrooms were clean. There was a little river not far from camp that we could hear from the table area.

Very nice, quiet campground. Unfortunately, some sites are very uneven, so it's better to bring leveling blocks for your camper.

Beautiful campground, super clean sites and bathrooms, we loved the sound of the creek and all of the little wildlife running around all day. Kind of tight, for even small trailers, but great for tent camping or the little tiny trailers. Will definitely be back, sooner than later.

This spot does not have enough room to park a small pop up camper and a car. Shame on them for advertising that it did. We had to find a spot elsewhere. Also no privacy and your stuffed in like sardines with a bunch of other campers.

The family had an amazing time!! First and foremost the camp site was spacious and welcoming! No one was very close to anyone at any of the campsites. The caves were spectacular and the night sky was truly a sight to see! We will definitely be back soon! I plan to bring the grandkids the next time! We will reserve camp site 7 very soon!

This was our first camping trip at Great Basin. We were planning to come with 5 to 7 senior ladies, so we reserved 2 adjacent campsites at Upper Lehman. It turned out to be only 4 of us and a dog but having the 2 campsites allowed us to accommodate 4 separate tents, 2 at each site. Also 1 site had two picnic tables, so that became our main cooking/eating/food storage site. We stayed 4 nights and really enjoyed hiking Alpine Loop Trail and part of the Summit Trail. All of us also took 1 1/2-hour tour of Lehman Caves. We had a wonderful time and plan to repeat it again. Dog had to stay in campsite, so we took turns staying with her while others did activities. Lehman Creek was running fully past camping sites. Some observations: (1) difficult to make reservations especially later in summer months, (2) no drinking water was available in the park so we brought many gallons, but could have used Lehman Creek water for washing, boiling, etc., (3) many empty campsites since reservations are made for longer period of time than actually being used, (4) quiet time is supposed to be in effect starting at 8pm, but had to remind people of that - never saw host enforcing quiet time, and (5) rangers were outstanding, answering many of our questions and encouraging us to make full use of the park.

Great, quiet campground with large, private sites.
