Absolutely the most beautiful and cleanest campsite we have ever stayed at. We stayed right after Memorial Day and were the only people in the campground but it was impeccably clean - probably the cleanest pit toilet I have ever used. The night sky is incredible and the sites are so cute with the fire pits and grills and picnic benches. I love that everything is set on a raised cement "patio" so you can stay out of the dirt. The little walkways are perfect all lines with rocks - it's like staying at a spa resort.

Nicely spaced campsites. Beautiful location. Had the place to ourselves in mid-September. Night sky was incredible.

We were so pleased with our experience at the Grey Cliffs Campground at Great Basin National Park. Very impressed with the solitude location, cleanliness and campground layout. Was above our expectations!

Very quiet campground. Dark, hence great star gazing. Clean, odor-free pit toilets

Campground was great and not crowded! Close to Lehman caves!

Very well-maintained dirt road access with minor washboard, don't bring your BMW sedan. Gorgeous scenery, camp sites were spread out pretty well and felt very private. This site in particular has no other sites nearby, and the vault toilet is fairly close by but not right next to you. View of the mountains to the west was OK, view of the valley to the east was OK. Deer wander through the campground. Great stargazing. Unfortunately, there were no camp fires allowed while we were there, due to danger of wildfire, despite the fact that it rained both days we were there, so if this is important to you I highly recommend calling ahead and speaking with a live person to confirm if camp fires will be allowed. A short hike is just a few minutes' drive away, or just a few minutes further driving gets you to the visitor center or paved scenic road to Wheeler Peak. Not sure if there was ice for sale at the visitor center at the caves (less than 10 minutes away) so we drove back into Baker for ice.
