Loop A, Site 1 is a great site, but the bathroom is straight across and sends bad odors toward the picnic table area (yuck)

It was a private, quiet campground. The vault toilets are the nicest I’ve ever used. Will definitely return to this campground one day! Thank you for making it such a nice experience.

Truly the best campground I have ever stayed at. Peaceful and distanced from other sights. Soothing sound of the stream brought some of the best sleep I have had in this lifetime. We were there in late May so cooler nights (35-40), warm sunny to overcast days (48-60) depending on elevation, and snow up at the Wheeler Peek scenic drive where we hiked the Alpine Lake Loop and Bristlecone-Glacier Trail to the Bristlecone Pine Forrest. We were there in late May. Clean pit toilets throughout the park. I would highly recommend this campground and this particular campsite (A1)if you visit Great Basin National Park.
