This is a much different experience from our Yellowstone campsite. Feels more secluded and great location next to the lake. The showers and laundry services are nice. We had a tent only site and the tent pad area has really hard dirt that we could not stake the tent correctly even using our rubber mallet. We saw more wildlife throughout the campground as well. There is what seemed like a resident foxes sneaking around empty sites looking for food. Also saw elk around.

This site is essentially a railroad apartment campsite. 3 cars share the parking, but then the sites are stacked one, two & three. Your table is on one side and your tent pad is on the other. The two other sites will walk directly through your campsite all day and night. Makes absolutely no sense. Additionally, no presence of a camp host or any decorum. Definitely noisier than other campgrounds.

This particular site was shared with 3 other sites so privacy was a minimum. Other campers had to walk through our site to get to others. Otherwise the site was well situated and in good repair.

Quiet with good trail accesses to Jackson lake, and not far from the convenience store

The Signal Mountain campground was one of the best campgrounds on our entire trip! Lovely facilities, a well-organised general store with a good coffee place and free Wifi for productive times, but also the nearby Lodge if you'd like a nice lunch or dinner - all provided for a really enjoyable and pleasant stay! Don't forget to swim in the Jackson Lake and jump off the jetty!

When I booked, there was only one spot left, #17. This tent spot was right next to the parking/road, was not pretty at all, just wide open next to the road. The kids screaming all around and dogs barking throughout the day made for a very NON-relaxing stay. The bear ladies came and woke me up before 9am in my tent by rummaging through my things. They had to put 2 clean pots and put them in my bear box and write a warning up for it. Then they went to site 16 and rummaged through all their clean dishes and things and even opened up their tent. I find that quite intrusive. On a good note, the restrooms were always nice and clean, the little shop was nicely stocked and it was easy to get firewood and ice. Personally, I would never spend another night at a national camp site due to the lack of parenting and crazy loud screaming kids.

Great spot to access GTNP and have incredible views of the Tetons from multiple locations at this campground. Clean and convenient showers and laundry. Everything you need as a base camp for adventures in this beautiful park.
