This campground was perfectly situated in the park and allowed us to walk not only to the Jenny Lake trailhead from our site, but also to the Jenny Lake visitor center and general store. It was so convenient! Facilities were clean, and the rangers were friendly. Overall a very pleasant campground.

Jenny Lake campground was great. The sites are postioned well, with enough space and privacy to enjoy the environment. Mule deer and red fox walked through our site multiple times.

The only downside was the closed showers, not due to Covid-19, but due to people keeping the shower tokens as souvenirs.

Checking in, the friendly Campground Host was full of helpful and important information. I was happy to see that there were many bear boxes for food and other "smellables." I also liked the nighttime "no generator" policy. I found the Jenny Lake Campground to be WAY more serious about bears than the two campgrounds we stayed at in Yellowstone -- including the "drive-by" campground inspections looking for items left out. I personally appreciated this because I had no desire to see a bear in the campground while tent camping. The bathrooms were clean but no hot water. Shower facilities were located nearby and cost $4.50 for 5 minutes of hot water. We luckily had no problem purchasing the special coins required for the showers (as there are no showers at Yellowstone campgrounds during Summer 2021, many people are coming down to the Tetons to take showers and the coins are at a premium). Some of the campground sites were bigger than others but none too small. The campground is conveniently located and I would definitely recommend it for tent camping -- if you can get a spot as they sell out fast!
