Clean facilities and friendly, helpful staff are appreciated! Waking up in the shadow of the Grand Tetons is a unique experience. While the Jenny Lake area might be a 5-minute walk away, this campground feels secluded and is quiet. The ranger programs were a fabulous cap to each night that I spent in this unique, intimate campground.

Campground host Joe was super! Bear box very convenient. Walking distance to Jenny Lake Store, Visitor Center, and Ranger Station!

Jenny Lake campground is such an incredible spot to camp. The proximity to Jenny Lake is so convenient. The amount of animals we saw in the camp was exciting (young bull moose, coyote, black bears, and mule deer). Bring cash for showers ($5 for 9 minute shower). The camp host Joe and Jenny were the sweetest people and so nice to our two kids. They had so many tips and recommendations for our stay in the Tetons. Spot 41 has a beautiful backdrop, decent privacy, spacious, and close to bathroom. Only con is that its in the sun midday to evening.

We stayed in site 41.

Pros:
--site is next to bathrooms and has a water spigot nearby
--There is wifi at the campground kiosk which is just a 3 min walk away from the site.
--amazing view of tetons and often there were deer hanging around our site
--sites 10-30 are really far from the bathrooms and are much more shaded but also wetter and the sites are closer together with less privacy.

Cons:
--on sunny evenings there is literally no shade at this site, cooking in the evening was hot and the site gets extremely buggy (huge insects) because of the sun exposure. Sites 42 or 43 were much more shaded and might be more comfortable. If it's cloudy in the evening then this isn't an issue
--no place to hang a tarp or hammock

Over woud definitely stay in jenny lake again. Location is close to the best hikes

Beautiful campground and the hosts (Joe and his wife) were just lovely and very welcoming. My friend and I felt very safe at the campground- Joe was consistently driving around on his golf cart, monitoring the on-goings and checking in, but not to the point where it was too much. Would definitely stay here again!

Close to Cascade & Indian Paintbrush Canyons Trailhead. We made two beautiful king hikes to Lakes Solitude & Holly.
Had to move out tents twice in 4 nights because of reservation system. Strange.
Showers are great, staff friendly & Ranger talk @ Visitors Center excellent! Thanks Ranger Sarah!

Great, quiet campsite that's close to - but not in - the madness of Jenny Lake. This is a beautiful place to wake up in the morning. A few camper vans snuck in - I wonder why if it's "tents only?"

The campground s clean and quiet and is in an excellent location. There are elevated pads for tents which helped with staying dry during thunderstorms. We greatly enjoyed our stay.

We loved Jenny Lake campground. The hosts were wonderful and the registration, check in and whole process was easy. There are plenty of things to do in the area including hiking, biking, and kayaking. The few issues we had we overcame. Spot 41 is big and away from most other campsites. However there is a path to the bathroom in the area and a few people walked through our campsite to use it, some late at night. And it did get a lot of sun, so there were some warm days. One of the showers was unavailable/out of order for several days while we were there. And of course there are always campers at any site that do not keep the quiet hours quiet.
