The best campground I have ever stayed at - only yards away from the most beautiful thing my own two eyes have seen. Friendly staff, clean bathrooms, and quite personal campsites. We were truly blessed to stay here.

The Jenny Lake Campground is rightly one of the most popular - if not the most popular - campgrounds in Grand Teton National Park. It is beautifully situated, well equipped with infrastructure, and an ideal base for excursions and hikes. When, during my second stay, I arrived at the campground on spec without an online reservation because everything was fully booked, the staff did everything they could to assign me a campsite that was about to become available. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and provided me with excellent tips for wildlife viewing.

One ancient bathroom for about 60 sites and is located at entrance (and no parking near). One working sink (mens side). I get it. Its camping. But keep in mind if you have little ones and you are at the far end of the campground that you may be looking at a half mile round-trip in whatever weather the mountains provides. Also, rules say you are not allowed to do dishes in the bathroom nor are you allowed to dump out dishwater at your campsite. That means you need to wash your dishes at your campsite and carry your dirty dishwater to the bathroom and pour it in the toilet after every meal. No dishwashing facility is provided.Reservation info says vehicle length limited to 14 feet and no camper vans. 14 feet is shorter than a RAV4. A few sites really DO have parking spaces intentionally that small. Dont know why they keep some so short. Most can accommodate a normal vehicle. I saw a full size pickup with double cab and long bed in one site as well as a camper van in another. HOWEVER some sites? VW Bug at most. And a few have low hanging branches that would be hard for a van. So luck of the draw for parking size. The LOCATION of the campground is stellar. There are no lake views from the campground, but its less than half mile walk to the lake on paved pathways. Firewood is available at the Jenny Lake store which is open during daytime.

Lovely campsite. This one does not have a view of the mountains. Only tents at this campsite, so nice and quiet. Close proximity to hikes and activities.
