We loved Jenny Lake Campground and were lucky to snag a site! The hosts were phenomenal, the bathrooms clean, and the site was spacious. My only complaint would be the clips to lock the bear box, they were really difficult to clip in to and out of the holes. This would not deter my recommendation or staying here again though. I hope to return soon

Jenny Lake campground in Grand Teton is a tent only campground, so no noisy generators to disturb the peace. You'd be lucky to camp at Jenny Lake; the campground is small so it's not crowded, the campsites are large, and the location is central to the southern half of Grand Teton, which I felt was the most beautiful. In a week of hiking in Grand Teton and Yellowstone, the hike around Jenny Lake including Hidden Falls and Inspiration Point was our favorite. The hike is mostly flat except the side trail up to Hidden Falls and Inspiration Point, but we got to see a Moose and the views are worth it. It's 9 1/2 miles around so take the Jenny Lake ferry if you want to cut the trip in half, the ferry is adjacent to the Jenny Lake campground. Joe, the campground host at Jenny Lake, is top shelf and very helpful. Oh, and there's a nice shower with hot water, a luxury in the National Parks. The hike around Taggart Lake (about 4 miles) is fairly flat and almost as beautiful as the hike around Jenny Lake and it's just a couple of miles south of Jenny Lake. The view from Signal Mountain is stunning, you can do this in a 7 1/2 mile hike from the Signal Mountain campground, or drive to the top if you're not up for the hike. Drive a loop from Jenny Lake around the park that includes Antelope Flats (stop at Mormon Row), Shadow Mountain Road and Lost Creek Ranch Road for good wildlife viewing and views of the Tetons. There's a Park store at Jenny Lake, you can get your basics and souvenirs at the store, but do your major grocery shopping before you enter the park. Cellular date is sporadic, but take that as a good thing and unplug, that's why you're visiting.

Minimize is the ticket, you can only have at site, tent, chairs car (1 only per site) everything has to be stored in a metal bin provided by park. Sites are beyond beautiful, bears, deer, fox and chipmunks abound within site. You are visiting their home. Hiking is amazing, take lots of pictures. Camp host and his wife were from Alabama, super nice, made it more fun for kids.A trip to take fir sure, we had 5 nights and could have stayed a lot longer. Bring your bikes as trails are great for all ages and abilities.

We had an amazing time at Jenny Lake Campground. It was the highlight of our 9 day Yellowstone/Grand Teton trip. The lake was absolutely beautiful with the picturesque Tetons in the background. We rented paddle boards for a day at Dornans and brought them back to Jenny Lake. Our kids all loved taking turns on then. We even paddled across the lake to hike to Hidden Falls. Joe, the camp host, was SO helpful and friendly. He made sure we had all of the information we needed and was accessable the whole time we were there when we had questions about the area. We will definitely be coming back again in the future!

Our trip to GTNP was amazing and staying at Jenny Lake was super convenient. We hiked to Hidden Falls, Inspiration Point, and a bit of Cascade Cayon. Took the boat across the lake afterward. Camping was amazing, although a bit of snow accumulated in our spot, and had to dig our fire ring out of the snow. Jackson Lake is a great spot to watch Grizzly bears. 399 and her cubs were definitely the highlight of the trip.
