Maybe our favorite campground. And you dont have to fight for parking while visiting the area.

We enjoyed our stay at the campground. Well maintained, easy to access and functional. We hitched the ferry across Jenny Lake, hiked up to Inspiration Point and witnessed incredible rock slides and an awe inspiring waterfall. The people we encountered were amazingly friendly. One evening we took in a Ranger Show on the plaza about animals in the park and their migration habits. Informative and fun. An overall inspiring couple of days.

Beautiful campsite. Sites 44+ gets you mountain views. Most others are forested. Campsite hosts were very friendly and helpful. Very pricey for a solo traveler and you've got to pay for showers on top of that. If they're gonna charge that much and give you the bear lecture they should at least put in a dishwashing facility.

You are packed in like sardines at this campground. Incredibly close to your neighbors. There’s also no view of Jenny Lake or the Tetons from the campsites. After seeing the site, we opted to stay on forest service land just outside the park, which was a much more pleasant experience.

Loved this camp ground. It was clean and the host's were all very nice and friendly. It could use another toilet facility though.

Overall, it was ok. There's no disputing that the location is very convenient to the park and hiking trails. It's also very nice to be able to make a reservation so I was able to get there later in the evening and just go directly to my site and know it would be there. Most of the camp sites are pretty close together with little true privacy, but other campers were very respectful of noise/quiet hours when I was there, however, I could hear road noise most of the night from my site on the east side of the campground. I was really there to just sleep and was exhausted from hiking all day so I really didn't mind much. I was able to hear elk bugling at night too! The campground hosts' campsite was kinda cluttered and junky looking with bins stored outside under their RV which was unappealing though. Several bathroom stalls ran out of toilet paper several times during my 3 night stay. The showers are a quick walk on a paved/gravel trail towards the visitor center, but are very small stall showers and kinda gross. They only take tokens (no coins) but you need cash in order to buy a token from the vending machine out front.

The campground is in a great location in the park and central to many hikes and lookouts. You can walk to a visitor center, ranger station, camp store, and the waterfront from any site at Jenny Lake Campground. The showers were out of order during our visit but there is usually a token-operated shower house within walking distance. The bathrooms were closer to the campground entrance and could be close to a ten-minute walk from the back sites, so pay attention to the campground map if that is important to you. The sites had more privacy than I've experienced at other national parks and weren't too close to neighbors. There are evening Ranger Talks at the campground, as well.

This place is beautiful!! Bathrooms are clean but showers were out of order. Fyi just watch the doors on the bear boxes. There is nothing from keeping the heavy door from slamming to the ground so watch those toes and shins. We did not take the shuttle but it is priced at $18.00.Our camp hosts were amazing. They were very welcoming and very informative. I highly recommend staying here.
