Jenny Lake Campground lacks showers and bathrooms for the size of this campground/ campsites. Unacceptable.

Great campsite, nice clean bathroom, got there late so didn't have time for a fire but the firepit looked inviting. Walked down to the lake in the morning and was lucky enough to enjoy a rainbow over the Tetons in the early morning light. We packed up the tent and walked around the south end of the lake to Inspiration Point (gorgeous view) and up the canyon until park rangers dealing with a bear issue didn't want us to go further, so we returned the way we came. It was a beautiful morning, the Tetons are of course amazing, saw moose and otter along the hike. Several other people on the trail around the lake and at Inspiration Point, but that was expected since it is short and easy. We will come back again and explore the Tetons more in the future, but unfortunately we had to continue our drive back to Michigan.

Jenny Lake is such a beautiful campground. It is quiet and peaceful and the sites are set apart a good distance so you have some privacy. It is situated within a 5-minute walk to Jenny Lake and the Visitor's Center so you have easy access to all the recreational activities that they have to offer. You are also within hiking distance of String and Leigh Lakes. The showers are also a welcome addition! We attended the ranger talks at the Visitor's Center each evening and found them extremely enjoyable and informative. We joined a ranger led hike to Moose Ponds which was also a great way to get to know the surrounding flora and fauna. We had a wonderful week at Jenny Lake Campground and can't wait to go back next year.

This was a wonderful campground (tent camping only). It is within easy walking distance to the Jenny Lake Visitor Center. There are coin operated showers near the campground.

The host was super friendly and helpful! He is a great asset to this campground! Beautiful campground and lots of great and chill campers. We had tons of trees and lots of beautiful campsites. A few campsites had mountain views and most had a decent amount of space between the other campsites. The roads were very tight in most places, so I totally see why there are no trailers, even very small trailers allowed. Even people walking had to step off the road for cars to pass. My only complaint is there is only one bathroom for all the sites close to the front of the campground. The long walk could be a problem when you really have to go, and it could get crowded for over 40 sites. You are right there for all the great hikes at Jenny Lake and the wildlife was amazing. We had a cow & calf moose behind the shower building. There are several fox who like to make their rounds through the campsites looking for scraps, and we were told that there was a little cinnamon colored black bear that was hanging around. They were trying to trap and relocate him. We didn't see him, but we did run across a momma black bear with a tiny cub on the Jenny Lake trail. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because of the RR situation. Absolutely loved every thing else about this campground, but the RR issue is pretty important. The Jenny Lake area is super busy, but in the campground with all the trees, you are in your own little heaven. Best host I have ever experienced! He gets 10 stars!
