This website wasnt working for me to give a rating. I would recommend staying here. Im so glad we chose Jenny Lake over the other campgrounds. You can just walk from your campsite to the lake. The hike to the waterfalls was beautiful and doesnt take too long if you ride the boat. Its expensive but otherwise you have to walk around the lake which takes awhile. Depends on how much walking you want to do and how much time you have. You can pay for one way. Not a difficult hike. If you stay somewhere else and drive to Jenny lake be prepared to come early in the morning or park on the side of the highway and walk. Its very popular. It was beautiful and the staff was very friendly. Jackson isnt too far away. Fun shops and restaurants. Theres a good sized grocery store in Jackson. The store at Jenny Lake is expensive and doesnt offer a big supply of groceries but thats to be expected. We stayed at the beginning of August.

The only downside is there is only one restroom in the campground. Other than that I was a first time visitor and had no idea how close we were to the lake since I got there in the late afternoon. The next morning I got on my mountain bike for a stroll and was pleasantly surprised how beautiful Jenny Lake is. If I had more time I would of we went on the boat tour and explore more of landscape. Definitely would recommend!

We loved our campsite! It felt very private and we loved how much space we had. The camp host had warned us that the only down side to our campsite was the distance from the bathroom, which was accurate, but we still thought our site was worth it and we didn’t mind the walk. We didn’t hear the other campers at night during our entire 3 night stay, so I think people are generally very respectful.
