Great location. This campground puts you in the middle of the park with easy access to yellowstone and jackson. With electric/water/sewer for the price in this area is well worth it. Sites were a little tight, but plenty of space to be comfortable. Very quiet and close to lake and wildlife viewing. Highly recommend.

I like having full hookups, walking distance to the lake, having the convincent of stores, fuel and restaurants. Jackson Lodge only 5 miles away and close to the parks scenic sites.

Great RV park. Lots of tall pines. Very shady.

colter bay RV park was great and the people who work the area are always friendly. We recommend about every site you can get to and the 40-miles through the park offer incredible views from every stop. We especially like the Moulton barns and Mormon Row, Schwabacher Landing, Jenny Lake boat ride to the dock near inspiration point and the Cascade Canyon hike, and anywhere else you can hike to or park near. It is all amazing and worth the effort.

Absolutely wonderful! Such gorgeous setting, we didnt want to leave! Loved the three resident bisons, the distance to Mt. Rushmore or the wildlife loop.. so convenient to visit every part of Custer State Park. The park was quiet, clean and the sites well spaced out.

My wife and I have been going to Colter Bay for the last 41 years and specifically to the RV Park since 1995 and we love it there. We never get bored with the awesome scenery and all of the activities that are available. The staff at the RV Park do an excellent job and I have never had a bad experience in dealing with them. My only issue is how busy the park has become during September over the past 4-5 years. It used to be a much quieter time of year, but not anymore, but it good to see people enjoying this most beautiful place. My only complaint is in how difficult it was to make reservations at the RV Park this year. I never had a problem over 41 years getting a reservation for the time (July, August or September) we planned to go, but this year I spent several months going on-line each morning only to find out I couldn't get a reservation. Finally, in March I got a reservation for the middle of September. Very frustrating.

Good level sites. Very nice to be close to Lake Jackson and visitors center.

We enjoyed our stay at Colter Bay RV Park. My only complaint was the site surface was basically dirt, which tracked easily into our RV. Being shaded sites, a little moisture from rain or melting snow did not dry quickly, so it could be a bit mucky. The General Store at Colter Bay was very nice with a decent selection of groceries, much better the General Stores we visited at Yellowstone. Showers were located next to General Store, and not very convenient to campground. It is a short walk from the campground to nearby Jackson Lake. Campsites at Colter Bay were tightly packed with little space between RVs, but that was okay for us.
