Colter Bay is very convenient to the entire Grand Tetons National Park. The sites were pretty tight for a 40 w/toad, but there were a lot of trees and otherwise nice.

We only stayed one night but was pleasantly surprised and plan to come back for a longer stay

In fairness, we arrived a day early because I goofed up my schedule. The registration staff was great in accommodating my screwup and set us up with two days instead of my original one day. The park was very nice. My wife went on a somewhat disappointing tour of the park and I had to work with an internet connection in the laundry house (I work remotely when traveling). I managed to get most of everything accomplished on my somewhat loose deadline. A bit expensive with regard to washing clothes and grocery purchases but not a bad stay.

It was a very nice stay. The campground was quiet and sites were convenient. Visitor centre and general store were not far.

Warm welcome on arrival. There was an elk walking around.Restaurant and pizzaria around the corner.Directions on how to walk to the lake would have been great. Also, showers were not on the actual campgroundRidiculously overpriced
