Colter Bay is an awesome campground. Sites are relatively level and have lots of shade. Sites here are larger than those at Fishing Bridge campground in Yellowstone. This was an excellent base for our exploration of Grand Teton NP.

Beach was great. Laundry was very handy. Sites in the RV park were pretty tight together.

Located towards the northern end of the park, Colter Bay has easy access to much of the park and provide full hookup sites. Nearby are many services such as gas, groceries, and one of the parks visitor center. It is an hour drive to Jackson, and verzion cell service is 4 bars. It is a popular park so expect challenges to get reservations. I prefer more remote locations and was the reason I gave it 4 stars rather than 5.

Very nice RV park! Plenty of room for our 40 ft motorhome. Great scenery and peaceful! They accommodated us for arriving late by leaving our reservation information on the front office door. Would definitely recommend staying here if you have an RV.

Electricity went out two different days of our 8 days there. It was in the 20s one of the nights plus I use a cpap machine, so that was not good. Other than that, stay was very nice!

Love this park and the location!!Only comment is some spaces need more gravel to help with the mud.
