Enjoyed our stay in the E loop. Short walk to the lake and nice shaded campsites were available.

We love camping at Colter Bay. The location is great and the village has a nice gift shop and well-stocked little grocery store. The bathrooms in the campground could use a shelf or some hooks. The showers are reasonably priced and have hot water, but the room itself was exceptionally hot with a heater blowing, making it very uncomfortable. Overall, our experience was nice and we will be back!

We loved our stay at Colter Bay Campground! Sitting at the Marina and looking over the water onto the Tetons was magic : ). I highly recommend a visit to the Grand Teton Lodge (historic building) for a drink and the views.

Fantastic campground! Camp hosts were very friendly. Campsite was clean. Great vicinity to Teton activities.

We enjoyed our stay at beautiful Grand Teton however were disappointed by Colter Bay Campground. We had come from Yellowstone Campgrounds which are well maintained, sites well spaced out, toilets clean, daily shower included with booking, dish washing rooms clean. Colter Bay sites are not well maintained - close together, narrow roads through, toilets dirty with grimy sink covered in flies in the morning, no hooks or shelf for towel/toiletry bag, rusty trash receptacle. The dish room was permanently out of order (resident said it has been for ages) so we washed our dishes at outside spigot/bucket. Showers in Colter Village are $5 with a long wait in the evening - 15 minutes each with flimsy narrow shower curtain.

A nice campground with moderate privacy between campsites. Some very beautiful walks a short distance away. Camping store is almost a full-on grocery store, and was convenient to have. There is also a visitor centre on site.Showers were clean, and had good pressure/hot water, though we were a little disappointed of the extra charge, per guest, given the super expensive price of this campground.Overall, a good stay in a great location in Grand Teton.

Overall the tent camping campground is similar to the other campgrounds in the Grand Teton's National Park. The facilities weren't kept up quite as nice as some of the other campgrounds but still had all the amenities. Not a lot of hiking available out of this area, at least that was shared by campground staff, but if access to the lake is important for you this is a good place.
