This is our new favorite campground! We loved our first night here so much we were able to book another night at the end of our 4 night Teton backpacking trek. Not all the sites and sections are "equal" here. Loops A - E are close together with little privacy and less trees. I recommend booking in the farthest back sections [K - N] .We were tent camping, so if that's you, then be sure to choose a tent only section to avoid the generators and extra noises of trailers, etc. All sites here are beautifully maintained. Each have a huge metal bear box, nice picnic table and metal fire ring. Every loop has a restroom with flush toilets and running water/soap. Such a luxury! Colter Bay has a general store with LOTS of options, a large gift shop that also stocks alot of backpacking gear. There is a 24/7 laundromat, and from 8 am-8PM you can get a $5 shower [with unlimited hot water]. There is a nice restaurant and a pizzeria, and the Colter Bay Ranger station is one of the three sites where you can get a walk-up backcountry camping permit. Staying in the campground helped us be first in line! [Permit window opens at 8 am, we queued up at 6 am]

The Colter Bay campground was great! We spent 4 nights camping in several campgrounds within Grand Teton NP and this was by far our favorite site. The facilities were all very clean and the space was perfect for our RTT setup

Very busy site, but nice. Clean bathrooms and easy access to store. Firewood was a bit expensive
