We love Coulter Bay and have been coming here every year for many years. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The facilities are getting very run down and in need of repair. The roads are very rough and full of potholes. When it rains the campsites fill with water several inches deep. The bathrooms and showers are in rough shape and need updating. Everything in the store is overpriced. We keep coming back because we love the area. The prices for the camp sites keep increasing, but it is hard to see where the money is being spent. We pay a lot more to camp here than we would pay anywhere else, and it is getting harder and harder to justify it each year.

We have been coming to Colter Bay for over 20 years and the new reservation policy has forced our party of RVers to go else where, we can't get sites together. We can't get groups sites either. We had been doing FCFS very successfully. Not sure why the change. what was working. We were there a couple of weeks ago and friends could not come with us and the place was empty but no spots were available online. We had reservations in August reserved and realized 2 of our spots are tent only. We had to cancel and was unable to get anyone to help us get replacement sites. I think the High Tech website reservations has ruined the experience for us. The cost has gotten too high for the sites as well. After this last trip we decided to stop coming.

Very pretty, cant beat the views of the Tetons. Sites are pretty small compared to other national parks weve stayed in. Bathroom was not cleaned at all. Hover, and dont touch anything skills, required. The rest of the campground was well maintained. Site was clean. A hook up fee, with no hook up is completely ridiculous. overall the campground is overpriced but, I guess if you want to stay in the park. :-) however Id stay there again just wont have expectations of other campgrounds.
