There are loops that can use generators, so we specifically booked one that couldnt. However, the loops are so close together so we could hear generators running 6am-10pm. Not very relaxing!

Colter Bay is our regular go to camping opener of the summer. Perfect location for touring Grand Teton and Yellowstone Parks. Great for water sports, hiking and biking. Would have rated it a five except that the camping facilities, particularly restrooms are getting dated.

Site was level, and reasonably private, although the neighbors are fairly close. Colter Bay has very good services available (camp store, restaurant, laundry). The only downside is the restrooms are in poor shape, and not kept very clean.

This was a really nice campground with a lot of resources and amenities. Our campsite was right next to the trail that leads down to the beach area where the views were amazing to experience. I really appreciated the clean bathrooms during my stay and would gladly stay again.

The Side was a little bit to small for 28ft RV

Each campsite comes with a nice fire ring (grill-top included), picnic table, and bear bin for food and toiletries. There are bathrooms scattered throughout the campground and nice and clean. There was a bathroom in every loop, so it was less than a minute walk to pee in the middle of the night. There are RV, cabin, and tent sites available for booking. The tent sites go deep into the woods, so you can choose to be closer to people or further into the woods for privacy. I will say that the pull-up areas for tent sites are thin/tight. So if you're planning on RV camping, I would suggest booking a spot in the actual RV park portion of this campground. There is also a really nice camp store that offers souvenirs, firewood, camp supplies, and food. The campground is located right on Jackson Lake and in the middle of Gran Teton, so the location is hard to beat. We would definitely camp here again!
