We camp at Colter Bay at least once a year. Love the proximity to all the trails in the park.

Camped at Colter Bay Campground 294N. The campgrounds and bathrooms were clean and well maintained. The tent pad was exactly as sized in site description and made for a nice surface (very small rounded gravel) to set up two backpacking sized tents.Note: The north end of the N loop (Sites 300 to 303 appeared to offer some mountain views, albeit just the tops.)The location of this campground is great for access to North Grand Teton and places you between Jenny Lake area and South Yellowstone Area.

Loved staying at Colter Bay. It was a beautiful wooded area for my tent, with good space between the other campers. It was quiet at night. The nearby Marina is a lovely location to get to know the Tetons. You can grab some food there, or get snacks at the convenience store/gas station up the road. I stayed at Gros Ventre and Headwaters as well and liked this location the most. Enjoy!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Colter Bay. Had everything we needed, great location to all the sights Grand Teton has to offer, and well maintained. Would highly recommend.

Campground has many amenities and one of the most complete General Stores we have seen for anything you may have forgotten, food, and souvenirs. The Swan Lake/Heron Pond trail was beautiful and quiet in the morning with a great view of the Tetons. Only complaint was that our tent camping spot was right next to the shortcut path to the restrooms. Otherwise, facilities were clean and easily accessible.

The setting was absolutely gorgeous! The neighbors were a bit close but we found some solitude while hiking.
