Nice settings in the trees with close access to village store for food and other essentials. No generators in the loop was a plus.

Good individual and area facilities, great service personnel, and the site was perfect for tent campers.

Claimed it was fully booked, but was actually 2/3 empty

Nice campground with great showers (but the showers arent free unfortunately). Neighbors are very close but on the forest side it feels very private. Picking a loop where no generators are allowed was a good choice for us.

Please note that it is possible to reserve a site in a "no generator" loop, which is great. You can hear in the distance a loop with generators, and it sounds like a bunch of lawnmowers at dusk! Showers are nearby at the laundromat.

Excellent campground! There were a lot of people there, but that's to be expected with this style of campground, which comes with a grocery store *and* a convenience store / gas station. I put the review at 4 stars because I really wasn't there long enough to give the place a run for it's money. Also, it's a bit pricier than I was expecting (once again, it's the location... all the campgrounds in the Tetons cost this much)

Colter Bay campground had nice flat camping sites with shade. It's close to the beach, to the store & to the showers. My campsite was a little far away from the campground restroom but what can you do? I just carried bear spray since there had been a black bear sighting earlier that day.

Great clean campsite. Checkin staff at gate were very friendly. Location and availability of dump/fill station was good.

The check process was easy, the front gate personnel were nice funny. We stayed in Loop I which was generator free, a huge plus!

We spent 7 nights in Teton National Park and 4 of them were at Colter Bay. The only downside of the experience was there was no internet at all (including any cell signal). The other place we stayed had a good connection. However, we drove all over the park and in many other places had a good signal. So we made it work. The Colter Bay Store was nice being so close and the laundromat was clean and not that expensive. An overall very nice experience. We would definitely stay here again.
