The location is awesome. Also loved having a store, Marina, and a boat tour of Jackson Lake. Scheduling is a nightmare. My work doesnot allow for planning 6 months out. I think it's very unfortunate and not fair to not have first come first serve campsites, or at least have some available to reserve the week before. Also, The camp ground is in desperate need of some maintenance. Roads and potholes are bad, and trees over the road hitting the camper were abundant. I consider Teton National park to be one of the most beautiful parks in the country, I wish the park buildings in colter bay reflected that, instead of being cheaply constructed and poorly maintained. Despite that it is our favorite place to camp. We haven't been for 3 years because we have been unable to reserve a spot.

Nice, clean campground, easy to get in and out. The workers at the gate were very helpful, and gave me a lot of information facilities in the area. I would definitely stay there again.

Our site was labeled as a tent site, but there was no level ground to pitch a tent. The whole site was on a slope and in powder-fine dirt. Our neighbors were quite noisy well after quiet hours both nights, so we had to wear earplugs to sleep. The showers are $5 per person and are located outside the campground.

We stayed at Site O-317 for 4 nights in September, over most of Labor Day weekend. The campground was full and we were surprised at how quiet it was. This site was in the back of the campground, with no sites behind. It's a roadside pull-thru with a very small median between the pad and the road. The pull-thru is somewhat shared with the site to the right, but it wasn't a problem since our trailer is small. It is level front-to-back, but we needed 4 blocks on the roadside to level side-to-side. The picnic table area was higher than the road and nicely surrounded by trees for privacy. Generators are allowed in this loop, but we had plenty of solar at this particular site and did not need to use ours. Water at the dump stations (3), modern bathrooms, pay showers at Colter Bay Village. I had low quality 3G T-mobile service which was good enough for texting. Wifi is available at the Ranch House (Colter Bay Village) and at Jackson Lake Lodge. At $29 (50% discount) I rated this a 5 star value, but full price is a little high for a campground whose primary amenity is location. We camped at Colter Bay Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Was a relaxed campground. Almost all sites are pull thru. We were in O loop. Great short trail through the woods to the water and gorgeous views of the mountains. Shower are nice and clean. Local store helpful. Friendly service workers.

Lack of showers. The terrain was not very plain for a tent.

Why drive around all day when you can relax on a beach with the best view in the world?
