I absolutely was enamored with Grand Teton national park and tCoulter Bay Village. It had everything you needed and was pretty centrally located to what I wanted to do at the park. However, I was not a fan of the pull through sites in loop O. To call them pull through was pretty generous. They were more like pull off. We have two slides and basically had our slides on the road. One night I thought someone was coming through our bedroom window. It was so close. On the plus side there is a beautiful separate area for seating by the fire and picnic area with bear box and a walk from behind the campsite directly to Jackson Lake, which is great.

We stayed at the no hook ups with generator allowed loop O. The sights were pull through (good), but not level at all (bad). I liked the area and convienence to the park store, gas station etc. I would like to see water/electric brought to every loop. This would eliminate the need for a generator at all.

Colter bay is one of the best campgrounds! We had 3 nights in the O loops and 2 nights in the L loop. I can say the O loop was amazing! Backs up against the Forrest and is quiet and beautifully wooded! All sights are pretty close to a restroom and our tent pad was mostly flat and clear. The facilities have everything you need, are clean and staff is so nice!

Coulter Bay Campground has been our go to in Grand Teton National Park for decades. Beautiful setting, great facilities and nice folks from all over the country staffing the campground and concessions. The drive out to Moran Junction from Jackson includes many opportunities for stunning views and photography, and if you're lucky, a variety of wildlife viewing. Being able to reserve a spot in the campground is a huge plus and reduces the stress if arriving late in the day.

We stayed at Colter Bay after 8 days at Signal Mountain in order to be closer to the Jackson area and Snake River. Most sites are pull through and are quite close. Also, most sites are not level. The showers, laundry, and grocery store are nice.

Beautiful shaded flat site. With a hidden secret, I'm not going to share the secret. Please explore for yourself and if you find it you will be amazed. Short walk to the bathroom. Last loop at the campground which made it a quieter stay.
