Weve been coming to Colter Bay since 2013 and I came as a child for 8 years straight starting in 1968. We love staying in Colter Bay for its proximity to so many fun activities like paddling the snake river, taking an e-bike ride from Dornans in Moose to Jenny Lake, doing an overnight on Leigh Lakeand so many great hikes that are easy to get to from Colter Baynot to mention the ease of making a day trip to Yellowstone and finishing with Pizza at Leeks Marina. Love everything about Colter Bay. We meet up with 4 other couples every summer for a week to catch up. We stay in the campground and they stay in the cabins. Absolutely great for everyone. The grocery store, marina, and gift shop have everything we need and the grill is awesome. Well be back next year with our grandchildren.

The campground is very crowded, no shade, very small sites. Unfortunately there were so many people on each site, very rude, walking through our campsite to get to the bathrooms, ignoring quiet time. We had a man get out of his tent and yell at the top of his lungs for everyone to shut up around midnight but did do the trick. People dispersed after that. Glad we only had one night there. There are so many better and more scenic places to stay where people arent rude. Had cars driving through with people hanging out of them yelling and a man walk through our site and kick a log into the street trying to cause trouble. Just very rude and obnoxious people there and very crowded

Facilities were clean, rangers were helpful, wonderful and informative, scenery was awe inspiring, traffic as minimal even as parking lots filled up at about 9 AM. We really like hikes around and above Jenny Lake. The only improvement might be a few more restrooms. I think this is my new favorite park!
