An overall wonderful setting. There were many amenities which made camping there pleasant and relaxing: beautiful views, interesting nature presentations, hiking areas, a swim beach, kayaking, a full-service grocery store, gift shop, showers, clean bathrooms, good cell reception, and a family-friendly restaurant. Must see the Jackson Lodge and Jenny Lake area. Some camp sites are smaller than others, some do not allow generators.

The check in process went very smoothly. The site was almost perfectly level and it fit our trailer very easily. For us, it was a one night stop-over on the way to Yellowstone.

Camp site L257 was great. Set up tent. You can do an RV as well. Camp fire was nice. Has big store and restaurant. Cant find a better campground near the Tetons and Yellowstone is only 45 minutes away. Happy camping!

The loop is very quiet, since no generator is allowed.

Campground farthest from Jackson in a pine forest. Nice big sites. Good cell service. Close to beautiful Jackson Lake. Quiet and peaceful ( just know this campground allows generators and someone fired theirs up at 6:15 am!) We had a great time.

I didn't pick a very good spot L 257. All other spots looked nice but ours had a steep hill to get to the fire pit, table, and bear box. Nice to have a bear box on the site. When I signed up I didn't realize that the loop was a no-generator loop, something to check closer next time. Left a day early as was raining all day.
