Fantastic campground experience. Loop A is quiet and private for a NP. Nice amenities as well.

After a rain that wasn't too heavy or long, the Colter Bay campground was flooded. Water was running down the roads, and entire campsites (including ours) were filled with standing water. We had to sleep in the car, and many campers packed up and left during the night. We were in Loop A, and drove around the other loops to see their status. Only a couple loops weren't flooded as they had higher ground and gravel beds. Grand Teton campgrounds cost twice as much as Yellowstone sites, and it seems ridiculous to pay that much for a campsite that floods easily.

Good location for grand Teton NP and Yellowstone NP. Loved that laundry was open 24/7 and the wifi at the laundry and showers was great. Wish they had more chargers there though. Good campsites. We had to move spots because we couldnt get the same spot 2 nights in a row.

great campground, especially if you get in the "NO GENERATOR loop! Beautiful cottonwood trees, moose across the river.
