Great staff greeted us at the gate and directed us to our campsite. The volunteers that came by the camp were also very friendly. Many people were washing dishes in the fire bucket at the dish station and brushing their teeth outside of the bathroom. Perhaps a sign with some tips for self care and dishwashing at camp could be posted for those who are not familiar with the process?! This could help keep the bears away from that area. Thanks!

Loved that you now have internet capabilities in the Colter Bay campground. Would be great to extend this into hiking areas and other national parks so you can have emergency capabilities (injuries, wildlife, etc.). This could prove problamatic in case of an emergency (a grizzly attacked a photographer in the Signal Moutain area while I was there). Campsites in Colter Bay are very good and easy to find, setup in and easy to park in. Would love to see some money spent on upgrading the campground bathrooms. They are:* Very dated and in bad shape* Sinks could use larger shelves to accommodate shaving, contact lens and other hygiene accessories.* That said, they were well stocked with toilet paper and paper towels. * Staff at the entrance are always great, polite and helpful with information!* The wildlife staff at bear jams were also great at keeping everyone safe and was a pleasure to interact with them.* As for activities, I was there to do landscape, some hiking and wildlife photography and had a great time!

This campground is beautiful! Nice picnic tables and fire pits. Showers, laundry and great general store. I would definitely rebook this campground next trip. Also, staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

We came the first weekend in June and had 4 camp spots reserved. The campground was kept very clean and the staff was so fun to talk to. They were all very nice and we met two of the local rangers who gave us lots of tips. Colter Bay is a great place to stay whether you are just exploring the Teton Valley or Yellowstone. We saw bears, elk and the cutest little fox kits. Everyone we encountered were pretty respectful and we will definitely be back!

Nice location with easy access to most things in park. The loops are a little crowded. I was in a 13ft teardrop with my son in a tent, but there were many really large TVs/trailers which made the campground seem really cramped.
