Great campsite, got coffee each morning and went down to Jackson Lake. Just beautiful

We sleep in the back of our pickup which has a shell and a nice carpeted bedliner. We had hoped to obtain a spot that allowed us to back into a drive. We wanted to avoid the RV crowded areas where there is virtually no privacy between sites and generator use, so we booked a "tent" site that we thought would have a "driveway." Turns out all the tent sites only have pull through areas for parking. Restrooms were kept clean and the separate sink area for dish/graywater disposal functioned well. Some tent sites did offer a little privacy but most were fairly close. We visited other loops that had a mix of tent and RV spots and most all the others felt even more crowded together so Loops F & G were probably the best for tent camping. The shower area at the washeteria was very nice with multiple stalls for use.

Camped in G loop. The restrooms were always clean. The general store was convenient and well stocked. The ice cream was such a treat after a hot shower. Phone service was spotty throughout the Park. The campground was great.

Quite a campground. I thought $65 was pricey, but the amenities are worth it. Nice bathrooms, very nice grocery/cafe, nice showers. Id stay again, but probably in a different site. I was in Loop G, site 140. Technically generator free, but there was plenty of noise early in the morning.

We loved camping at Colter Bay. It was incredibly convenient being so close to the gorgeous Jackson Lake and having the amenities of showers, laundry, groceries, and gas. The tent sites were level, private, and beautiful, and the bathrooms were clean. I hope we can go back over and over!

Great stay, very little bugs, big tent friendly, secluded if wanted. Recommend the G or F loop. Clean. Fully loaded camp store 2 minutes away. Good hiking close.

Beautiful campground village with everything you need - showers ($5; 7am-9pm with last call at 8:30pm), gas, laundry, restaurant, general store, etc. If you have time, a stroll to the lake will not disappoint! The view from the start of Lakeshore trail is gorgeous at dusk.
