Primo, level spot. Only ding is far from lake, Aesthetic with trees and shrubs all around picnic table and fire ring areas, very private compared to others. Be prepared for wait for dumping. Know all three dump stations, two together one further in. Well managed and maintained campground. If you have military parks pass, go to the RV park registration building sometime during your stay to get a 50% refund off your reservation fee, I got $200 refunded!

beautiful destination. great cell phone reception, and a decent grocery store nearby for all the stuff you forgot... :)

Perfect place - enough people around that you feel safe. Has a gas station, small grocery store, showers, laundry, a lovely little beach! What more do you really need? Water levels on actual Colter Bay were VERY low August 2022, but the beach to the north by the lake trailhead was great.

Loved the area. I was a little disappointed that the bay water was so low

Great, shaded campsite equipped with bear boxes! Short drive to hiking and other activities. Awesome area!

Absolutely NO Verizon Cell Phone coverage or service here. Nice campground but campers were running generators in areas not allowed.

We used this campground to park our camper for sleeping only. The campsite was a bit tight for our 30-foot trailer, but it served its purpose so that we could park and sleep and spend the day exploring. We would come back for sure.
