I called the week before to ask about restaurants being open and was told they all were. Unfortunately only one option was available. But we love colter bay. So well be back!

Nice campground close to the main visitor center and lots of wilderness. Walking distance to lake.

This campground and campsite exceeded my expectations. It was close to the bathroom, but not too close, had a level tent pad and enough privacy to make for a great experience. I would definitely stay here again!

Location worked well for rooftop tent. Actual tent spot was close to the road and in an open space. The campground was very quiet and respectful at night. Bathrooms were clean and camp hosts were easy going and helpful.

Our tent campsite in the "N-Loop" was very spacious and well maintained. The tent pad, layered with gravel contained by wood retaining barrier was very level and prevented the rain water from puddling under the tent. The site amenities include a metal fire ring with a cooking grate, a bear locker for food storage, and a metal picnic table. The nearby restroom was kept clean but does not offer showers or hot water. The campground is walking distance from Colter Bay Village and marina where we were able to enjoy hot showers at the laundromat, an excellent pizza at the pizzeria, and hand-scooped ice cream in the general store. Every employee, every park ranger greeted us with a smile and were genuinely pleasant and helpful. Overall we had an outstanding experience at the Colter Bay Campground!

The campsites were adequate size, clean, had individual bear boxes, and the car pull in was a nice feature. One downside to the n loop is that potable water is located far away.

Camp ground was great. Camp site was good. Camp site has large broken stump in front of tent pad. Restroom next to this site is is bad condition and not cleaned well. Metal partitions are rusted. Urine almost always puddled on floor. Soap dispenser is broken. Only one of the two faucets functions okay. One faucet turns when you turn on water. The first couple days of our stays someone was marking the bathrooms as clean on log when they were not. Another employee logged on sheet that bathrooms were not cleaned and paper towels empty. I like the camp ground but will look to see if another loop has a better bathroom for next trip.

Cold and rainy. Not much to do.

The location in the park was great. Lovely views, good rangers, a nice convenience/grocery store and the lake was a great place to swim and see stars. Book your campsite wisely!

Its a great campground. My only complaint is I wish they would require group campers to stay in the group campsites. We were surrounded by a very loud, rude and rowdy church youth group which required calling security to ask them to quiet down and return to their individual campsites at 11:30pm.
