Huge camground, but still had a very nice private spot in loop G. There are a lot of trees providing shade. The toilets could have been cleaned more often. Was overall a great stay

We stayed in loop G, which is a quiet loop, and it was extremely quiet and peaceful. The site we stayed at was nice. It had a bear box, like all other sites, that is sizable and can fit what you need to store to stay protected from the bears. The tent pad was a little small for our tent (9x12), but we made it work. The fire ring was in good condition. We stayed at site 139 and felt like we were very close to our neighbors on either side, so we will choose a different site when we return. The bathrooms were cleaned daily and in fine condition. The utility room (for dumping cleaning water) had some plumbing issues and was backed up almost the entire two weeks we were there. We were within walking distance of the camp store, showers and lake. We loved our time there and absolutely will go back. It was busy, even in May, but not too busy. The hiking is amazing and you can get to anywhere in the park within 30-40 minute drive (for the most part). Overall, it was an excellent place to stay and a great experience.

We stayed in a tent only loop at Colter Bay for three nights and were very happy with our experience. The small loop of tent only sites (9 sites) was for the most part quiet and peaceful, and was well treed and shady. The site had a spacious tent pad and good parking. The restroom and water access was good and included a cooking wash up station. The location is fabulous, with easy walking distance to Colter Bay beach and services. Overall, this was a great experience which we would repeat.

It was a really great stay. Campsite was good. Wooded with space between sites. Restrooms were cleaned and stocked regularly. Was quiet for the most part. Personnel was friendly and helpful.

Colter Bay exceeded our expectations. Our site was perfect, the village had everything we needed and the Marina was beautiful. We were able to canoe and hike right there without having to leave Colter Bay. We will be back!

Campsites are close together, but have plenty of shade. Restrooms were fairly clean. There is a nice trail along the nearby lake shore with beautiful views of the Tetons. Camp store, restaurant, and visitor center are conveniently close.
