This is our second stay at Colter Bay. The bathroom on our loop was closed but the bathroom on the next loop was not far and they fixed the issue by the next day. This site was secluded and although there is no shade over the picnic table and tent pad, there is plenty of shade under the trees for chairs and hanging out. Easy short walk at the backside of the loop to the beach and picnic area at Colter Bay was a plus. Would stay at this site again.

Excellent location. Had a huge site with some level of privacy for a national park campground. My biggest complaint was our bathroom which had one toilet broken with nasty towels on the ground to soak up the mess, one that wasnt a toilet you couldnt sit on at all, and the only functional toilet was constantly flooded with a mess of toilet water, mud, and whatever else. Our last night, they closed the bathroom completely making for a long walk to another loop for a toilet. We were there a full week and no effort made to fix or signage saying they were working on it.
