Campsites are set up so that there is some semi-privacy between sites. Most sites are pull through and fairly level for ease of parking a camper. Each space has a nice flat spot designated for a tent. Large bear boxes are very helpful, we didn't need to unload our cooler and even our Coleman stove fit in while it was set up. The staff was very friendly, cheerful and courteous. There were no generators allowed in our campground which made for a lot of quiet. The bathrooms were clean and had flush toilets. Although not in the campground, the pay showers were nearby and wonderful for only $5.00 per person (there is a family group rate too). We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Restrooms needed to be clean more often

Site was nice, although I would go for a pull in rather than parallel parking site next time. Staff were great, restaurant great, and loved the wonderful $5 showers. Will go again ASAP!

My family has stayed at this campground many times over many years. The natural beauty of the park always amazes us. The camp sites are well designed and never feel crowded. But over the years I see aging infrastructure that should prompt all of us to lobby our elected officials to allocate bigger budgets to the National Parks. The bathrooms are adequate, but just. The only showers are at the main visitor area, and are by far the most expensive at $5.00 per person, unlimited time. At state parks the "quarter a minute" pay showers can be had for 4 or 5 quarters, which is plenty of time. On this last visit, it rained the first 2 days - I NEVER complain about getting rain in the Western states. But the result is that most of the campsites filled with very large puddles because they had not been grated for many years, and car/foot traffic made deep ruts. The staff was gracious in trying to move us around to dryer sites as they had openings. This was a tough task, as they do not have access to the online registrations and rely on paper print outs to know what sites are booked for just the current day. Again, better funding of our parks could easily update their technology. The overall message here is that this once great campground has fallen into aging disrepair due to underfunding for far too long - get on it folks and speak up for better funding of our precious National Parks.

Clean bathrooms, water pump, big tent pads. Love the Tetons!

Biggest campground in the park but well maintained and good sites. Similar to all sites in the park, you cant actually park a camper on the non-electric sites. Those are better for tents, but thankfully our camper is only 8ft so we could park it on the spot for your vehicle. Showers are cheaper here than other campgrounds and dont require tokens. Good home base if you are going between Tetons and Yellowstone.
