The reservation system is flawed. It is most certainly a detriment to WY residents who chose to live here because of the access to our beautiful mountains.

Really great spot to camp! The employees were all very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were clean and so were the showers.

Overall a very good trip and a very clean campground. Definitely plan for all varieties of weather and anticipate that it will change. The campground offers showers and laundry which is convenient. Make the most out of your time there because you will miss it!

Colter Bay is a beautiful campground with a very friendly and helpful staff. The sites were very nice with clean bathrooms nearby. The bear boxes provided were new and easy to lock things up. The restaurant on site is really quite nice with a great menu. The store has most everything you might need (with the exception of half & half for coffee). There is a clean laundry on site with plenty of machines and showers which came in handy. They had plenty of hot water and they were new and clean. We loved this place. The best part about the campground was its location. As a home base you can drive south to Jenny Lake, Mormon Row, the town of Jackson (about an hour away) and more or drive north to Yellowstone National Park (only about an hour to Old Faithful). I would definitely stay here again.

Loved the location and amenities! The sites were well spaced with great shade and individual bear boxes
