We enjoyed our time camping at Colter Bay while exploring Grand Teton National Park. All the amenities you need are very convenient, campsites have plenty of privacy and youre close enough to explore the park!

The campsite was mostly secluded from the next sites through some trees and had ample room to set up our tent. The bathroom was clean and within walking distance. The pay showers left something to be desired as they were a little pricey for the carwash/laundromat feel that you got.

We enjoyed our stay at Colter Bay Campground. Despite being a huge campground, the fact that we were in a tents-only loop made the experience much more quiet and private. Our campsite was fine, and we enjoyed our regular evening walk (through a far busier generator loop) to the lakeshore. There are a number of decent hiking trails that are in walking distance from the campground and/or Colter Bay Village. Colter Bay Campground is also conveniently located to sights and amenities. As with all three of the GTNP campgrounds that we've stayed at (Jenny Lake, Colter Bay, Lizard Creek), we found that restrooms for both women and men are barely adequate for the number of campers. Other than that, a great experience!

This was a great campground! The campsites were big and well-shaded. And even thought the campground is big, it didnt feel crowded.
