tenting site was either up a hill or down a hill in our area which was ok but a little hard to pack in and out. Picnic areas were awesome

The campground and restrooms are clean and tidy. The campsites are spaced nicely with ample room to spread out. Before the entrance to the campground, there is a nicely stocked camp store with coffee drinks for the morning, lots of food items, and a deli and ice cream bar. It's open until 9 p.m. Across the parking lot, there is a lodge restaurant which was convenient on a rainy day. At the end of the parking lot is a visitor center. Nearby at Jenny Lake, I paid for a boat ride to the other side of the lake and hiked up to the falls. Also nearby, is Jackson Lake Lodge where I was able to access the internet from the lobby. There is NO internet or cell phone service in other areas of the park or at the campground. The lodge has a restaurant and a fast food grill. The large windows in the lobby gave me a grand view of the Tetons.

A quiet and shady campsite. Have a lot of privacy to ourselves. Main road has some facilities like stores, restaurants and visitor center, it meets basic needs (or even more than just the basics) but maybe too developed for some people who expects more wilderness/nature. We liked it anyways

297 is a great campsite. Very large and private, and we found it to be quiet as well. Would definitely camp here again! The one downfall is that it is quite wooded, so the mosquitoes were fairly bad at night. This may have been the case at other sites as well, and hey, that's the woods for you. Otherwise, no complaints.

The sites are pretty big and often farther away from the road than usual. You can walk to the bay through the campsites. Our camp was one a little bit of a slope, so we worried about water, but thankfully we didn't get torrential rain.

Just a great place. Stay was awesome. Our only complaint was that in the group sites one night these kids were singing at the top of their lungs after 11pm when we were trying to sleep and no one told them to shut up. Other than that, the place was fantastic!!!! it's really 5 starts but this is what made it 4 this time.

Loved our spot at Colter Bay and staff were very helpful and friendly when we had questions!

We had a decent stay at the campground - it is a busy campground with lots of places for people to camp. They do an OK job trying to separate the generators from a more quieter area, but we still heard them - meaning if you don't want to hear generators, then find a loop that doesn't have them. The store has plenty of camping & backpacking supplies if you forget or break something, so it isn't just a Pop-tart store. Showers were nice ($5) and we did not use the laundry.
