Colter Bay was the perfect location! The campground itself was busy but quite once quiet hours hit which was great. The site was right next to the rest rooms which was nice since you didnt have to walk far but the restroom also has a 24hr light so if that bothers you when you are trying to sleep you might want to pick a different site. The site was an easy pull through and pretty level on gravel. We had our own bear box for food and grill which was great. Check in was easy as we got there late, our name was on the arrival sheet with site number, we also had this information from our reservation so we just rolled straight into our site. Its also in close proximity to Colter Bay village which had a general store with coffee shop, laundry $4, showers $5, and a restaurant and visitor center. Early in the morning it only took 25mins to Jenny Lake. Would hands down stay here again!

Large campers parked along what felt like a parking lot instead if a campground. Not what i expect of a national park campground and not what i have experienced in other park campgrounds. I guess that comes with overuse.

The campground staff at Colter Bay were fantastic. The new reservation system at Grand Teton National Park is a complete failure. If you care at all you will go back to a 1st come first serve system.
