we very much enjoyed our stay at colter bay. Tho it was expensive we did enjoy the pizza cafe and the general store. yes I'd go there again and plan on doing that next year if possible. I'd say, if you want a good experience go camping in Colter Bay campground, it is worth it.

Location was awesome, there was a lot to do in the area and we had access to showers, gas, and groceries at colter bay village. We camped in our car tent topper and the location was pretty level with some help from a few blocks. Tons of room and trees for hammocking and just relaxing at the site. If you're new to the area and hiking, make sure you have bear spray for the hikes because you may come across bears like we did hiking to Delta Lake. Would definitely go back!

This campground is very rustic, but sometimes its nice to be unplugged and take time to observe nature. We had site 222 and backed our truck camper in. There was rain around so there was some puddles, but no problems. We left the back door open to watch for any animals and there was a young deer that walked by. Knowing there are bears in the area, the staff encouraged us to use the bear box. We loved the Colter Bay gift shop and grocery store. It was too far to walk, so we drove there and to use the shower house which was very good. Definitely worth the $5 per person shower.

Nice location.lots of campspots. Campspots somewhat rundown. No water spigots except at bathrooms. No ranger presence to make sure people put food away since there are bears in the area. Good access to Jackson Lake.

They were very accommodating and helpful. The general store was like a full grocery. Be sure to know the difference between the RV Park and the Campground which is dry camping.
