Amazing, clean, and very spacious plot. The campsite is very well maintained. It's nice that the table isn't made of wood because it dries quickly in case of rain. The toilets are a little neglected but perfectly usable. The showers are a little far away. It's a shame it rained during our two nights there.

Colter Bay is about an hour drive from Jackson which made me hesitant being far from gas, shopping, restaurants etc. However, there are a lot of great amenities which make the distance not an issue whatsoever, it is very convenient! There is a gas station about a five minute drive from the campground as well as a general store with groceries, camping supplies, a gift shop, laundry, and a restaurant. The drive from Jackson is breathtaking and beautiful, it did not feel like a long drive! We were in loop N at the campground. Our spot had enough room for 2 vehicles and 2 tents. Each campsite seems to have a platform that is flat for one tent but there was space with fairly flat ground for the second tent. We felt like we had good privacy and plenty of space around the firepit and grill for our camping chairs and our supplies fit in the large bear box provided. The campgrounds are well maintained and beautiful with plenty of conveniently located restrooms. I recommend the Lake Shore hike while you are there. It was a mix of walking and light uphill hiking along the bay and Jackson lake. It offers gorgeous views of Jackson Lake and the Teton Range! We went in the evening which was nice because there were few other people and the sun was not overhead making it a nice cool temperature. We biked to the hike as well as biked to the general store a couple of times. It was only about a 30 minute drive to the Jenny Lake hike which is a more strenuous hike (which is what we were looking for)! I recommend hiking all the way to inspiration point; the waterfall will not disappoint! If you don't want to do the entire hike you can pay to take the boat across the lake which looks like fun and you still get a small hike from the dock back to the waterfall. I loved our time in the Tetons and loved the Colter Bay Campground, I will definitely stay there again!

Colter Bay is one of my favorite places to be. I have stayed in the campground and the cottages. My last trip, I was in the campground in a tent area. The spaces are spacious and give nice privacy. I hope that Colter Bay stays just the way they are for years to come. Other campgrounds in different National Parks are run by corporations. They have too many spaces jammed together. My spot had plenty of shade, room to relax under the trees, and was quiet and relaxing. Thank you for the opportunity to unwind and enjoy what the Tetons have to offer. I would recommend Colter Bay to all my my friends and family. If you are coming to hang out by yourself, family or friends, you can't go wrong here. Enjoy!

We loved the May Creek Cabin! It is in great shape and the trail is awsome. We passed the Firewood cutting crew that were there for 2 days and they did a great job! Can't wait for next time. Thank you
