We enjoyed this campground and campsite. Someone was parked in our site when we arrived, but we called Colter Bay, and they sent someone to the site to help us. We asked in neighboring sites, but no one knew whose car it was. By the time an employee arrived, a person had returned to the car and left before we could ask anything. Other than this, it was a pleasant experience at Colter Bay.

Camp spot was clean and quiet, O loop. Clean Bathrooms. Great access to the lake. We rented a boat from the marina no problem always available. pizza at the village very good. Food Store was expensive . Tried to rent horses, but they canceled on us two times. So went to Swift Creek outfitters horseback riding they were amazing always open, great trails and horses.

Campground was clean and restroom facilities were maintained fairly well for a national park. We really enjoyed our spot and were not disturbed very much at all with any generators. The site accommodated our 4runner and teardrop trailer nicely. We were very conscious of being bear aware and did see a brown bear on our way back from swimming at the lake. We stayed over 4th of July week and the mosquitos were no joke so be prepared. I would highly recommend Colter Bay.

My campsite was occupied when I arrived by another party, who was not around to chat about it.I found a campsite host after some difficulty, and the camp host was helpful and assigned me a new site.I was happy with the new site and not being out of luck having no campsite - everything was marked "fully occupied".I was unhappy that my campsite was not unoccupied when I arrived - I spent much time deciding upon this site and was quite disappointed to not be able to stay at that site. Plus the hours of frustration looking first for the campers in my spot, and then looking for a camp host. However, the Grand Tetons are spectacularly beautiful, so I am grateful for the camp and opportunity to stay in such a beautiful treasure.

Everything in the campground was excellent, however, I go to this campground, circle 0 every year at least twice and this year the restrooms were so dirty all the time. The tap was broken on one sink both in August and then again in September when I went back. It so needed someone to go in there with a large leaf blower and blow all around in the corners and in the top corners. There were so many cob webs and spiders crawling all over on the ceiling and on the walls in was scary. The restroom in the past have always been so clean but this time it was really bad. And I was there both in August and September with no change. A large blower is needed badly, if someone would just go in there and blow all the crap off of the ceiling and walls and in the corners it would be a lot more pleasant. Other than that everything was really nice, camp site was perfect. Would appreciate it if you would pass this suggestion on about the large blowers to clean the restrooms. Thank you, Lisa Anderson
